A 71-year-old man from Mansfield, Missouri, died following a single-vehicle crash on US-65 near Victory Road, about 2.5 miles north of Buffalo, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred the evening of September 2, 2026, at approximately 8:57 p.m., the Patrol's online crash report states. Investigators said a 2007 Sterling L9500 was traveling northbound on US-65 at the time of the incident.

The driver sustained fatal injuries and was transported for medical treatment, according to the Patrol. No other vehicles were reported involved in the crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Troop D, which has jurisdiction over the area, is investigating the crash, identified in Patrol records as incident number 260373489.
