A three-vehicle crash on US 136 about three miles east of Burlington Junction left six people with minor injuries on July 2, 2026, according to a preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
The patrol said the collision involved a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica traveling southbound, a 2005 Buick LeSabre traveling eastbound, and a 2006 Peterbilt 379 traveling northbound. The crash occurred at approximately 11:55 a.m. in Nodaway County.
According to the report, three juvenile occupants sustained minor injuries and were transported for medical treatment. A 24-year-old woman from Clarinda, Iowa, and a 30-year-old woman from College Springs, Iowa, who was identified as a driver in the crash, also sustained minor injuries and were taken for treatment, the patrol said.
The crash remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop H. The incident has been assigned crash report number 260275093.
