A 20-year-old man from Quincy, Illinois, was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on US-61 in Lincoln County, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at 4:20 p.m. on August 25, 2026, on southbound US-61 at the Route UU intersection, the Patrol's online crash report states. The driver was traveling south in a 2011 Chevrolet Impala when the single-vehicle wreck occurred, according to the report.
The driver suffered serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said. No other vehicles were reported involved, and no fatalities resulted from the crash.
