Report

A driver suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 29 northbound in Platte County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at mile marker 15.0 on the morning of Sept. 6, 2026, at approximately 11:30 a.m., the Patrol's preliminary online crash report states. A 2015 Nissan Altima and a 2020 Freightliner, both traveling north on I-29, were involved in the collision, according to the report.

The Altima's driver, a 26-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said. No other injuries were reported, and the crash resulted in no fatalities.

Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to and is investigating the incident, which is cataloged under crash report number 260380839.
