An 81-year-old man from Clay, Arkansas, was injured in a two-vehicle crash on US 60 about a half mile west of Birch Tree, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash happened at 4:10 p.m. on Aug. 17, 2026, the Patrol said. Both vehicles involved — a 1996 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 2026 Ford Maverick — were traveling westbound on US 60 at the time, according to the report.
