A pedestrian died after a rear-end crash sent two vehicles off the road in Marshall, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened in the 1000 block of South Odell Avenue, when one vehicle struck the rear of a second vehicle, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Both vehicles left the roadway as a result of the impact, the patrol reported.
The second vehicle then struck a pedestrian who was near the roadway, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. At least one person died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Further details about the vehicles, drivers and the pedestrian have not been released.
