A 56-year-old Marceline man suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash on US-36 about two miles east of Brookfield, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash, identified by the Patrol as incident 260373522, occurred the evening of September 2, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m. in Linn County. The Patrol reports that the driver was operating a 2001 Toyota Tundra eastbound on US-36 when the crash occurred.

Following the crash, the driver was transported for medical treatment for moderate injuries, the Patrol said. No other vehicles were reported involved in the incident.

Troop B of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to and investigated the crash. Further details about the circumstances leading up to the crash have not been released.
