A 54-year-old Independence man suffered minor injuries late Friday night when the pickup truck he was driving crashed on MO 13 at West 134th Street in Ray County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 11:52 p.m. on October 2, 2026, the Patrol said in a preliminary online report. The driver was traveling southbound in a 2023 Ford F150 when the single-vehicle crash took place, authorities reported.

According to the Patrol, the driver sustained minor injuries but refused transport to a medical facility at the scene. No other vehicles were reported to be involved, and no fatalities resulted from the crash.
