Two men were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash early Friday on MO-10 at Brian Street in Ray County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol's online crash report says the collision happened around 5:30 a.m. and involved a 2013 Kia Optima and a 2013 Nissan Murano, both traveling east on MO-10 at the time.

A 20-year-old man from Orrick was driving one of the vehicles and sustained minor injuries, the report states. A 31-year-old man from Wood Heights was driving the other vehicle and was also injured. Both drivers were transported for medical treatment, according to the patrol.

Troopers with Troop A responded to the scene and are handling the investigation, which is logged under incident number 260408290, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
