A 68-year-old Halfway man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route H south of Halfway, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The patrol said the crash happened on Nov. 5, 2026, at approximately 6:14 p.m. on Route H, about 2.5 miles south of Halfway in Polk County. The investigation falls under the jurisdiction of Troop D.
According to the crash report, a 2026 Ford F-250 was traveling eastbound at the time of the crash while a 2013 Ford Focus was traveling southbound. The two vehicles collided at the location, resulting in one serious injury.
The Highway Patrol identified the injured occupant as the 68-year-old male driver of the Halfway residence. He sustained serious injuries in the crash and was transported for medical treatment, the report states.
No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
