A golf cart crash south of Stoutsville left one woman seriously injured on the night of July 4, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The patrol said the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Monroe County Road 466, about a half mile south of Stoutsville, and fell under the jurisdiction of Troop B.
According to the crash report, a 1998 EZGO golf cart was traveling westbound at the time of the incident. The driver, a 23-year-old woman from Manchester, Missouri, sustained serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the patrol said.
A passenger in the golf cart, a 54-year-old woman from Paris, Missouri, sustained minor injuries but refused medical transport at the scene, according to the report.
