Five people, including two juveniles, sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on MO 126 about eight miles southwest of Lamar, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred on July 11, 2026, at approximately 11:08 a.m., per the Patrol's online crash report. A 2003 Honda Accord was traveling eastbound while a 2012 GMC Sierra was traveling northbound when the two vehicles collided, the report states.

All five occupants involved sustained minor injuries and were transported for medical treatment, according to the Patrol. Those injured included two juveniles, a 25-year-old woman from Pittsburg, Kansas, who was driving one of the vehicles, a 41-year-old woman also from Pittsburg, and an adult male, also from the Pittsburg area.

The crash is being investigated by Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D under incident number 260290866.
