A 68-year-old woman from Westmoreland, Tennessee, was seriously injured Monday morning in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Highway UU in Boone County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 8:45 a.m. on Highway UU north of Blue Jay Way. Investigators with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the woman was riding a 2007 Honda Goldwing southbound when she failed to navigate a curve in the roadway.
She sustained serious injuries in the crash, according to the patrol's crash report. No other vehicles were reported involved, and the incident is classified as an injury crash with no fatalities.
