On Wednesday, a woman suffered major injuries after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Spokane.
As per the initial information, the pedestrian crash took place at about 12:30 p.m. near S Brown Street and Pacific Avenue in Downtown Spokane. The preliminary investigation showed that two women had got into an argument. One woman started walking north on Browne Street whereas the other got into a vehicle and travelled the wrong way on Browne, hitting the woman before colliding with a concrete structure.
The woman who got struck was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle was also transported to the hospital to be checked. According to the officials, the crash was likely intentional. No other details are available.
The incident remains under investigation.
