On early Monday morning, a woman suffered injuries following a rollover crash on the city’s West Side.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place at approximately 1:15 a.m. on the access road of Highway 151, not far from Loop 410. The early reports showed that the woman was going to Loop 410 when she failed to maintain control of the vehicle for an undetermined reason and flipped it off the road.
On arrival, firefighters had to cut off the roof and the doors of the vehicle to extricate the woman as she was trapped inside the vehicle. The woman was rushed to University Hospital with possible life-threatening injuries. Her current condition is unknown at this time. Multiple agencies responded to the scene. No other details are available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
