A woman received injuries after a crash Tuesday afternoon in Houston.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place on the Southwest Freeway at Bissonnet. The early reported showed that a woman was thrown from her vehicle as a result of the wreck. She was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital with unspecified injuries.
All southbound mainlanes were briefly closed down while crews worked at the scene. It is unknown how many vehicles in total were involved in the accident. The identity of the victim has not been released. No other information is available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
