Woman hurt after a fiery crash in Baldwin Park; DUI suspected to be a factor (Baldwin Park, CA)

A woman was hurt after a fiery crash early Sunday morning in Baldwin Park.

As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place just after 4 a.m. in the 13400 block of Frazier Street. The early reports showed that a vehicle slammed into a power pole and several other obstacles before bursting into flames. When responders arrived at the scene, they found the Dodge Charger fully engulfed in flames.

The collision caused damage to several residential properties, vehicles, mail boxes and street signs and left electric wires in the roadway. Crews from Southern California Edison responded to the scene and managed to restore power to residents who lost electricity due to the crash.

A woman who was identified as the driver incurred minor injuries in the accident. Her male passenger remained unharmed in the wreck. Officials believe that speed and alcohol were involved in the crash. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
