A woman received serious injuries after getting struck by a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck Saturday night in Swan Canyon.
As per the initial information, the hit-and-run accident took place in the 3200 block of Home Avenue. The preliminary reports showed that the pickup truck was heading southbound on the 3200 block of Home Avenue at 11:01 p.m. when it hit the woman who was in the roadway.
The driver left the scene after hitting the woman. On arrival, first responders rushed the woman to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. Authorities have not provided a description of the hit-and-run driver. No other details are available.
The incident remains under review.
