Woman hospitalized after a fiery crash in Fresno (Fresno, CA)

On Friday, a woman suffered injuries following a fiery crash in Fresno.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle collision took place before 1 a.m. on Belmont Avenue and Fulton Street. The early reports showed that a southbound vehicle on Fulton Street slammed into an eastbound vehicle on Belmont Avenue for undetermined reasons. One of the involved vehicles got engulfed in flames due to the collision.

On arrival, firefighters quickly extinguished the flames. Emergency crews took a female occupant of the vehicle that caught fire to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The other driver remained unharmed in the accident. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation is ongoing.
