Woman Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Seattle (Seattle, WA)

The Seattle Police Department reported a  motor vehicle crash on Thursday night. The accident happened at the Fourth Avenue South and South Lander Street intersection at around 10:40 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a woman, 40, unconscious on the road.  She was declared dead at the scene.

Police searched the area for the car they thought hit the woman, but they were unable to locate it. They have released a description of the car – a white Dodge Charger from 2018 to 2023 with a black racing stripe. Its hood, grill, and front bumper are severely damaged close to the passenger-side headlight.

It was last observed speeding away from the scene of the collision, possibly heading east on South Holgate Street and north on Fourth Avenue South.

Officials are looking for the suspect. The fatal crash is being investigated.
