A woman lost her life after being hit by a vehicle Saturday in West Covina.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place just before 6 a.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of Valley Avenue. The authorities actively responded to the scene and, on arrival, found the female pedestrian with head trauma.
She succumbed to her injuries at the scene. On the other hand, the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
The crash remains under investigation.
