A woman lost her life following a single-vehicle accident early Tuesday in San Jose.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place on Payne Avenue and San Tomas Expressway. The early reports showed that a woman on a motorcycle was heading southbound on San Tomas Expressway when she struck a curb and then slammed into the center median of Payne Avenue.
The woman, who was reportedly wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, was rushed to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. The area was closed for about five hours while crews worked at the scene. No other details are available.
