On early Wednesday, a woman lost her life after getting struck by a vehicle in Fontana.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 1:30 a.m. on Arrow Route near Beach Avenue. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit an unidentified White or Hispanic female for reasons that are yet to be known.
The woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene at approximately 1:41 am. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
The incident remains under investigation.
