A woman in her late 20s lost her life following a traffic collision in North Hollywood.
As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle crash took place shortly before 2 a.m. The preliminary investigation indicated that the woman was heading northbound on Laurel Canyon Boulevard at Sherman Way when her vehicle smashed into a parked tractor trailer.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene at 1:59 a.m. and transported the victim to a hospital. Unfortunately, the woman later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No further details were provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
