Woman and a 4-year-old child hospitalized after a rollover crash on the South Side (San Antonio, TX)

On Thursday, a woman and a 4-year-old child suffered injuries following a rollover crash on the South Side.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place a little before 11:30 p.m. on Interstate 37 and E. Southcross Boulevard. The early reports showed that a woman was driving when she failed to maintain control of her vehicle and crashed into the median, causing the car to flip over.

Due to the impact, the victim was ejected through the windshield and onto the grass. The child was safe into the backseat. Both were transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries and are expected to be okay. No other details are immediately available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
