White House Police Officer Injured In A Motor Vehicle Crash In White House (White House, TN)

White House Police Chief Pat Brady reported a motor vehicle crash that injured a police officer when he attempted to traffic stop a pickup truck. According to Chief Brady, the pickup accelerated after the officer activated his lights after turning north on Cross Plains Road. In the same moment, a passenger jumped out of the moving pickup and fell to the ground.

The officer was taken to the area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A second officer was called to assist the officer who was rendering first aid to the passenger.

Three vehicles stopped in the roadway for the officer to pass while he was traveling west on Highway 76 towards Union Road. In an attempt to avoid the officer, one of the vehicles pulled in front of him.

The second officer collided and was taken to the hospital. The vehicle driver was not injured.  

The crash is being investigated by THP.
