A 66-year-old Versailles man died Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Route W near Old Marvin Cutoff Road in Morgan County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report cited by KMIZ.
The patrol said the man was driving a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado southbound when the truck left the roadway on the left side. He was pronounced dead as a result of the crash, authorities said. No other vehicles or injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data.
