Vehicle runs into a structure in Baton Rouge; driver sought (Baton Rouge, LA)

On Tuesday, a vehicle plowed into a building in Baton Rouge while the driver left the scene after the collision.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash was reported at about 11:40 p.m. at 12508 Coursey Boulevard. The preliminary investigation showed that the vehicle was inside the building after the crash.

The driver of the involved vehicle ran from the scene before the arrival of the officers leaving the vehicle behind. It is unknown if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. The events that have led up to the accident also remain unclear at this time. No other details are made available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
