A vehicle struck a Columbia Public Schools bus on Interstate 70 eastbound near St. Charles Road in Boone County, according to Columbia Police, who responded to the scene.
CPS spokeswoman Michelle Baumstark said no students were aboard the bus at the time of the crash. The number of people involved and the extent of any injuries have not been released.
