Two drivers were hurt when their vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 32 and Highway Z in Laclede County, according to a preliminary crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash was reported at 5:15 p.m. on July 27, 2026.

Patrol investigators, operating under Troop I jurisdiction, said a 2017 GMC Terrain was traveling eastbound while a 2017 Toyota Highlander was headed southbound when the two vehicles came together at the intersection.

A 31-year-old woman driving one of the vehicles sustained minor injuries in the crash, the Patrol reported. The driver of the other vehicle, a 70-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries and was transported for medical treatment, according to the report.

No fatalities were reported in the two-vehicle crash, which remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Additional details, including further findings from investigators, had not been released as of this report.
