Two drivers were injured when their vehicles collided at the intersection of 13 Highway and JJ Highway in Johnson County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The patrol's online crash report says the collision, identified as incident 260295948, occurred at 5:20 p.m. on July 14, 2026. A 2015 Toyota Corolla was traveling south while a 2021 Jeep Gladiator was traveling east when the two vehicles crashed at the intersection, the report states.
A 49-year-old woman from Knob Noster sustained moderate injuries and was transported for medical treatment, according to the patrol. A 51-year-old woman from Independence sustained minor injuries in the crash, the report adds.
The incident falls under the jurisdiction of Troop A, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
