Two women were injured in a two-vehicle crash on westbound US-50 at Lookout Trail in Boone County, according to a preliminary online crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash happened at 11:05 a.m. on October 10, 2026, the Patrol reported.

A 2026 Hyundai Elantra was traveling westbound when it was involved in a collision with a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox heading southbound, per the Patrol's report.

An 18-year-old female driver from California, Missouri, sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said. A 41-year-old female driver from Holts Summit, Missouri, suffered serious injuries and was also taken for medical care, according to the report.

No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F is investigating the incident, which has been logged under crash report number 260431235.
