Two women dead, man hospitalized after a vehicle struck pedestrians near Yerba Buena Center (San Francisco, CA)

Two women lost their lives and a man received injuries following a crash Sunday evening near Yerba Buena Center.

As per the initial information, the fatal accident involving pedestrians took place at about 4:30 p.m. at 3rd and Mission streets. The early reports showed that a taxi cab struck pedestrians near the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco.

According to the authorities, a third pedestrian who was struck was transported to the hospital in unknown condition. The taxi cab driver was shifted to the hospital in stable condition. The area was closed down while crews worked at the scene. No further details are available.

The incident remains under review.
