Two Warrensburg residents suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of NW 625th Road and MO-13 in Johnson County, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 3:11 p.m. on August 7, 2026, the patrol's online crash report states. A 2004 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling north at the time of the incident, according to the report.

The driver, an 88-year-old man from Warrensburg, and a passenger, an 86-year-old woman also from Warrensburg, both sustained serious injuries, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. Both occupants were transported for medical treatment following the crash.

Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to and investigated the crash, which is identified in patrol records as incident number 260333531.

No other vehicles were reported involved in the crash.
