A two-vehicle crash southwest of Bolivar left one driver with moderate injuries on September 16, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's preliminary online crash report.

The collision occurred at approximately 5:53 p.m. on E 480th Road, about two miles southwest of Bolivar in Polk County, the Patrol reported. A 2023 RAM 2500 was traveling westbound when it collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Impala traveling eastbound, according to the report.

A 59-year-old male driver sustained moderate injuries in the crash and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol said. No fatalities were reported in connection with the incident.

Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data.
