A crash involving two vehicles traveling in the same direction sent one driver to the hospital on Penn Lane just west of Neosho, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol's online crash report states the collision occurred on July 31, 2026, at approximately 3:55 p.m., about 31 feet west of Neosho in Newton County. The incident, logged as crash number 260322791, was investigated by Troop D.

According to the report, a 2019 Chevrolet Suburban and a 2017 Ford F250 were both traveling eastbound on Penn Lane at the time of the crash. A 41-year-old female driver from Goodman, Missouri, sustained minor injuries in the collision and was transported for medical treatment, the patrol said.

No other injuries were reported, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol has not released further details regarding the cause of the crash.
