A driver suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 49 about a mile north of Carthage, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 7:35 p.m. on August 31, 2026, in Jasper County, the Patrol's online crash report states. A 2020 International NB607 and a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan were both traveling westbound on I-49 when the collision took place, according to the preliminary report.

The driver of one of the vehicles, a 39-year-old man from Quinton, Alabama, sustained minor injuries in the crash, the Patrol reported. He was transported to a medical facility for treatment. No other injuries were reported among those involved.
