Emergency crews airlifted to a Phoenix-area hospital with a head injury following a two-vehicle rollover crash in Casa Grande on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Florence Boulevard near Fry’s. Casa Grande Police officers are looking into the wreck. However, police believe that the driver of the blue car that flipped over may have turned left in front of a red car and a vehicle struck the blue car in the process. However, the crash did not cause serious injuries to the driver of the red car. Officers are not certain if speed played a part in the collision. Additionally, because of the conflicting stories, police have not cited either of the two drivers.
The incident remains under investigation.
