Two people received injuries after a wrong-way crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 10 in Phoenix.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place just before 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 9 at the 67th Avenue on-ramp. The early reports showed that a vehicle traveling the wrong way crashed into another vehicle at the ramp.
On arrival, first responders transported two people to the hospital. The extent of injuries sustained by the victims remains unknown at this time. Impairment is believed to be a factor in the collision. It is not clear if any arrests were made. No other details are available.
An investigation is underway.
