Two people received serious injuries following a traffic collision early Friday morning in Victorville.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at about 5:52 a.m. on Village Drive and Puesta Del Sol Drive. The early reports showed that a white Honda sedan crashed into a pickup truck for reasons that are yet to be known.
Two helicopters were requested to airlift the injured patients to a trauma center. Village Drive between Eto Camino and Blue Canyon Drive was shut down while crews worked at the scene. The identities of the injured victims have not been released. No other details are available.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
