Two people hospitalized after a car slammed into a Starbucks in Cupertino (Cupertino, CA)

Two people received injuries after a car slammed into a Starbucks Thursday afternoon in Cupertino.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash was reported at the coffee shop on Homestead Road. According to the authorities, two bystanders inside the shop were injured and taken to a hospital with non-fatal injuries.

The driver was not hurt and cooperated with the investigators. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identities of the victims have not been released. No other details are available.

The crash is under investigation.
