Two pedestrians suffered serious injuries in a crash involving two vehicles on MO-AB about 1.5 miles west of Springfield, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.

The Patrol says the crash, logged as incident 260402225 and handled under Troop D jurisdiction, occurred on September 20, 2026, at 5:08 p.m. Investigators reported that a 2003 RAM 1500 and a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado were both traveling south on MO-AB at the time.

A 49-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man, both from Warsaw, Missouri, were identified by the Patrol as pedestrians injured in the crash. Both sustained serious injuries and were transported to receive medical treatment, according to the crash report.

No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
