Two people from Norwood suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on US-60 about one mile east of Fordland, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The patrol said the collision occurred on Sept. 16, 2026, at approximately 4:20 p.m. and involved a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse traveling southbound and a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander traveling eastbound.
A 64-year-old female driver and a 71-year-old male occupant, both from Norwood, sustained serious injuries and were transported for medical treatment, the patrol reported.
Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time, according to weather data, with temperatures near 95 degrees.
Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene and is investigating the crash, which is identified as incident 260395758.
No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.
