Two people died early Wednesday morning after a single-vehicle crash on Route MM at Miller Road in Jefferson County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at approximately 2:10 a.m. and involved a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer that was traveling westbound at the time, the Patrol said in its preliminary online crash report.
The driver, a 19-year-old man from House Springs, sustained fatal injuries and was transported for medical treatment, according to the Patrol. A juvenile occupant of the vehicle also suffered fatal injuries and was transported for treatment. Both later died as a result of the crash, per the report.
No other vehicles were reported to be involved in the crash, which falls under the jurisdiction of Troop C. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation, identified in its records as incident number 260307677.
