Two men died and a third was seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash on US 160 about three miles west of Doniphan, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.

The crash occurred the morning of August 1, 2026, at approximately 7:45 a.m., patrol records show. A 2008 Suzuki SX4 was traveling westbound when it collided with an eastbound 2005 Chevrolet Suburban, the report states.

A 40-year-old man from Doniphan, who was driving one of the vehicles, sustained fatal injuries and was transported for medical treatment, according to the patrol. A 50-year-old male occupant from Doniphan also suffered fatal injuries and was transported for treatment. A 42-year-old man from Doniphan, identified as a driver in the crash, sustained serious injuries and was likewise taken for medical care.

Troop E of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to and is investigating the crash, designated incident number 260323659 in patrol records.
