Two juvenile occupants were injured Thursday evening when a car left the roadway in St Charles County, according to a preliminary crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at 5:57 p.m. on September 24 at the intersection of Missouri WW and Pike County Road 228, the report states. A 2012 Chevrolet Impala was traveling westbound at the time of the crash, patrol officials said.
The juvenile driver of the Impala suffered moderate injuries and was transported for medical treatment, according to the Highway Patrol. A juvenile occupant riding in the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was also taken for treatment, the report indicates.
Only one vehicle was involved in the crash, per the Highway Patrol's account. Troop C responded to the scene as part of the investigation, which is being handled by the Missouri State Highway Patrol under incident number 260407655.
No fatalities were reported in connection with the crash.
