Two people were injured when a Polaris Ranger UTV crashed in rural Atchison County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's online crash report.
The Patrol says the crash occurred at 9:20 p.m. on July 9 on R Avenue at 210th Street, about two miles southeast of Tarkio. The 2008 Polaris Ranger UTV was reportedly traveling northbound at the time of the crash, which fell under the jurisdiction of Troop H.
A juvenile occupant of the vehicle suffered moderate injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. A 22-year-old woman from New Market, Iowa, also sustained moderate injuries and was taken for treatment, according to the same report.
The crash was logged by the Missouri State Highway Patrol under incident number 260288746. No fatalities were reported, and the incident remains classified as an injury crash involving a single vehicle.
