Two men were injured Tuesday evening after the fire truck they were riding in crashed on Route C near Richardson Road in St. Francois County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.
The Patrol said the crash occurred around 5:09 p.m. on September 15, 2026, and involved a single vehicle — a 2008 Spartan Vantage fire truck that was traveling westbound at the time.
A 44-year-old man from Desloge sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. A 56-year-old man, also from Desloge, suffered moderate injuries and was likewise taken for treatment.
Light drizzle was falling in the area at the time of the crash, according to weather data.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol, operating under its Troop C jurisdiction, is investigating the incident. No additional vehicles were reported involved.
