A two-vehicle crash south of Mansfield left two people injured on the evening of Oct. 7, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report.

The collision happened on Highway 5, about 1.5 miles south of Mansfield, around 5:45 p.m., the Patrol said. A 2017 RAM 1500 was traveling northbound when it collided with a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze headed westbound, per the report.

A 37-year-old woman from Mansfield, who was driving one of the vehicles, sustained moderate injuries and was taken for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. A juvenile occupant involved in the crash suffered minor injuries and was also transported for treatment.

Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene and is handling the investigation, according to the crash report, which is logged under report number 260426996.
