A two-vehicle crash on U.S. 54 about a mile east of El Dorado Springs left two people injured, according to a preliminary report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 1:31 p.m. on Aug. 1 in Cedar County, the Patrol said. It involved a 2014 Ford Escape and a 2005 Mercury Montego, both traveling westbound on U.S. 54 at the time of the collision, according to the crash report.
An 18-year-old male driver from Pleasant Hill sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment, the Patrol reported. A 68-year-old female driver from El Dorado Springs suffered moderate injuries and was also taken for medical care, according to the report.
The crash falls under the jurisdiction of Troop D, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
